The dog carries the baby goat in his backpack!
This is Hamdü Sena Bilgin, 11 years old. She lives in a small village outside the city of Rize in Turkey.
Hamdü Sena and his family run a small farm where they raise goats for their milk production. She is a goat, who acts as a protector and guide of the animals.
Her dog, Tomi, is always by her side to help her, even during the coldest winter months.

Recently, as Hamdü Sena and his loyal dog went out to graze goats on a snowy hill far from home, one of them was suddenly getting ready to give birth. Fearing that the goat and her soon-to-be baby would be too weak to come back on their own, the young goat hound sprang into action.
After giving birth to the goat, I brought the rest of the herd back to their shelter,said Hamdü Sena Then I took two backpacks from the house and went back to take the goat and her baby with them. Tomi's help.
Although backpacks are normally filled with books and school items, this time around they'll be carrying more valuable things.

Once there, Hamdü Sena placed the mother goat in his backpack and put the fragile baby in the other and Tomi carried it.
He's a good dog, said Hamdü Sena. He is very intelligent.
Together, they roamed the steep, wintry terrain to bring the new family to safety.

The snow was so thick I was exhausted, said Hamdü Sena. But it was totally worth it.

Thanks to the dedication of Hamdü Sena and his faithful friend Tomi to the animals they raise, the goat and her baby arrived home safe and sound. While the 11-year-old heroine feels it is her duty to protect her herd from harm, her action has sparked a wave of appreciation online, and her story has gone viral.
